HOW IT WORKS

The Apéro Series

Local Battles. Global Ambition.

Entry-level events across clubs and cities. Compete regularly, qualify for the next stage and take your first step into the WFoP global circuit. A social tournament where competition meets conviviality — ending with a shared drink among all players.

The Buffet Masters

Where Local Champions Become Contenders.

Only open to Series qualifiers, offering stronger competition, more visibility and a premium match-day experience. Meet all Series winners for a full day of qualifying matches — closing with a wellness buffet shared with every participant.

The Majors

The Flagship Events of the Season.

A 3-day festival: 2 tournament days + 1 Training Camp. Experience the full WFoP atmosphere with 100+ players from several continents, VIP night, after-party, brand activations, pro player challenges and exhibition matches. Professional services included: coaching, physio and media coverage.

The Final

Where the Best of the Season Meet.
A global gathering of 600+ players from around the world. Three days of competition + one training camp, revealing the full spirit of the Festival — the ultimate celebration of amateur padel.

Level 4.25 to 5.5
Player Profile

This category is for experienced and competitive players who are close to the top level of amateur play. They are capable of executing advanced strategies and controlling the game with precision and intensity.

Technical & Tactical Characteristics
  • Full command of basic shots, with high levels of power, precision, and variation.
  • Ability to target opponents’ weak zones to create scoring opportunities.
  • Advanced aerial play, with bandejas and viboras executed with depth and spin.
  • Strategic use of the walls to produce effective counterattacks.
  • Aggressive volleys and powerful smashes to finish points.
  • Strong team coordination, with well-structured game patterns and smart rally management.
Target Audience

Players ranked among the top amateur competitors in their country, with experience in national tournaments and the ambition to compete with the most skilled players in their category.

Level equivalency
  • Playtomic: Level 4.25 to 5.5
  • Matchi: Advanced / Confirmed competitor level
  • France: Level 6+/7, confirmed P250, national ranking between 1,500 and 3,500 (men) and 300 to 700 (women)

SILVER

Level 3.5 to 4.25
Player Profile

This category is aimed at advanced intermediate players who have a solid understanding of the game and can adapt their strategy based on their opponents’ strengths and weaknesses.

Technical & Tactical Characteristics
  • Solid command of basic strokes with improved directional control and shot accuracy.
  • Frequent use of side and back walls for defense and ball recovery.
  • Development and regular use of tactical shots such as the bandeja and vibora.
  • Serves with more variety and spin, enabling players to build points from the start.
  • A more structured game with well-timed net approaches and controlled defensive phases.
  • Notable improvement in offensive volleys and smash execution.
Target Audience

Players with substantial experience in amateur competition, regularly participating in regional tournaments and looking to fine-tune their technique and tactics to reach an advanced level.

Level equivalency
  • Playtomic: Level 3.5 to 4.25
  • Matchi: Advanced intermediate
  • France: level 5+/6, intermediate P100, national ranking between 3500 and 8000 (men) and between 700 and 1500 (women)

BRONZE

Player Profile

This category is designed for beginner-intermediate players who have mastered the basic padel techniques and are starting to structure their game.

Technical & Tactical Characteristics
  • Good understanding of basic rules and general court positioning.
  • Ability to execute fundamental shots: forehand, backhand, volley, and basic smash.
  • Frequently regaining net position after each stroke.
  • Beginning to master rebounds from side and back walls.
  • Gameplay primarily focused on basic ball exchanges without advanced strategies.
  • Some difficulties remain in managing spin shots and counterattacks.
Target Audience

Players who already have experience in amateur competitions or regular training sessions, aiming to improve their consistency and strategic gameplay.

Level equivalency
  • Playtomic: Level 2.5 to 3.5
  • Matchi: Lower intermediate / Experienced recreational
  • France: level 4+/5, advanced P25, national ranking between 8000 and 13,000 (men) and between 1500 and 3000 (women)
